The Regency Bar & Grill: Your “Go To” Spot For A Memorable Mother’s Day Brunch!

Mother’s Day brunch at the Regency Bar & Grill is designed to feel both classic and celebratory, set inside one of Manhattan’s most iconic hotel dining rooms. The restaurant—famous for its “Power Breakfast”—leans into its upscale yet comfortable atmosphere for the holiday, making it a popular choice for families who want something refined without feeling overly formal. On Mother’s Day, brunch is served during the usual hours (11 AM to 4 PM), creating a relaxed window of time for guests to gather and linger over the experience.

The menu blends signature dishes with special holiday additions curated by Executive Chef Manjit Manohar. Guests can expect elevated brunch favorites such as Maine lobster salad, baked eggs, and jumbo lump crab Benedict, alongside the restaurant’s regular offerings like classic eggs Benedict, omelets, and breakfast plates. All the usual great Regency Grill desserts will be available (including their amazing New York cheesecake pictured above) but chocolate lava cake is being added for Mother’s Day since it is such a crowd pleaser. This mix of indulgent, occasion-worthy items and familiar comfort dishes, making it appealing for a wide range of tastes.

Everyone can toast to mom this year with the restaurant’s new Alchemy By Loews drink which includes the Lavender Sparkle made with Seagram’s Gin, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup and Brut champagne. What is mom doesn’t drink alcohol? Well, Regency Bar & Grill is arguably the headquarters for mocktails in the city—the talented bar staff is always coming up with new alcohol-free drinks with unique ingredients including fresh herbs not used elsewhere. My favorite to date is the Don’t Call Me Shirley (shown above), a healthier take on the Shirley Temple made with Lyre’s Aperture Rosso, Italian orange and tonic water.

In addition to the Sunday brunch, hotel guests and other visitors can experience special holiday happenings in the lobby beginning Friday, May 10 and lasting through Sunday—including the hotel’s signature floral cart featuring small and large bouquets for purchase at great prices ($35 to $60 depending on the size). Bouquets are by the amazing Patrick J. Clayton Productions who do a lot of the hotel’s large arrangements. Also in the lobby is the exclusive Zadig & Voltaire Pop-Up for moms who appreciate chic yet comfortable fashion.

What really defines the Regency Bar & Grill brunch experience (both on holidays and regular days) is the overall presentation and extras that go beyond just the food. The setting emphasizes a polished, celebratory mood—often enhanced by thoughtful touches like floral elements or seasonal décor—and the event is known to fill up quickly, reflecting its reputation as a go-to Mother’s Day destination in New York. Altogether, the brunch at the Regency Bar & Grill offers a sophisticated yet approachable way to celebrate, centered on high-quality ingredients, attentive service, and a classic New York hotel ambiance.
