A Look At The 2025 Curve Expo And VIP Fashion Show!

Curve New York 2025 was a must‑attend for anyone deeply engaged in the intimate apparel space. From ambitious newcomers to industry stalwarts, the event blends discovery, commerce, and creative inspiration—right in the heart of Manhattan. Whether you’re scouting next‑gen designers, covering trend launches, or building your network, this trade show is an energetic gateway to the future of intimates.

All the biggest brands in lingerie come out and it’s one stop shopping if you are a buyer for a boutique or brick and mortar store. There are all the classic brands like Wacoal, Fantasie and Chantelle but there are many cutting edge newbies using novelty materials—and making everything from bras for petite folks with smaller backs (by In Her Words) to corset styles with customized embroidery done in the astrological sign of the buyer (by Soreil) to workout wear styles that “breath” and feel extra comfortable (by Floatley, pictured above).

There are seminars including ones about proper bra fittings done by execs by the heavy hitters like Chantelle and Sculptresse. And let’s not forget about the leisurely pace of the Curve Expo—it’s in the most quiet area of the Javits Center with a stunning view of the Hudson.

There are amazing swimsuit choices at the Curve Expo. You won’t find more swimsuits with great support in them anywhere else! This rack of suits by Panache was had at least 10 buyers or influencers looking at it at one time!

There were some very special items I would put in the “miscellaneous” category like this jumpsuit with built in bra by Shape LLX This company’s biggest seller is a dress with built in bra that is the sister of this newer piece. Shape LLX also has incredible line of bras, athleisure wear, bras and slimming garments.

There was a New Brands At Curve Expo booth with interesting items that I would call “lingerie adjacent” like these scented candles for each season of the year that guests got to take home gratis! There was sexy eyewear, hemp skincare, “for her pleasure” items and even cute sleep masks.

Possibly my very favorite part of Curve Expo is the Curve Expo VIP Fashion Show which features an hour of lingerie and swimwear (and even men’s compression wear worn by real guys, not models)! There were some oddball and slightly kinky boudoir items that are for people who prefer “bad gal” or almost punk corset looks but most of what was modeled wear items that would look good on everyday people. The Chantelle and Montelle bras and Simon Perele silk robe and gown sets were so classic that you could not tell what year they are from and the quality of the garments are exquisite!

What also is special about the Curve Expo VIP Fashion Show is that the models have very varied shapes and are encouraged to smile and be animated. All the models looked like they were having a ball! Hope to see you next year at Curve Expo! I almost forgot to mention that the glitter bar in the back of the Javits Center featured comped hair and makeup services and a gifting lounge with great items from sponsoring brands like Wacoal, B.Temp’d and Bare Minerals Cosmetics. You do not have to be in the business to attend. Keep an eye on curve-connect.com and curve-newyork.com for future shows and spinoff events!
