I was lucky enough to visit Givaudan’s US headquarters in midtown Manhattan for a press event last week and had a blast smelling original formulas for fragrances created by the company’s “noses” from 1937 to present. I even got to meet some of the current hardworking “noses”! As you probably know, Givaudan has created hundreds of yesterday and today’s most famous fragrances ranging from Robert Piguet’s classic Fracas to Tom Ford’s quirky scents like Wild Cherry and F-Ing Fabulous! I learned all about the Givaudan four-year perfumery school while I was at the press event and even saw the computers that some fragrances in the works were being designed on with a special program!
