I don’t have to tell you that Shiseido has been at the top of the luxury cosmetics world for nearly an eternity (they actually started in Japan over 150 years ago!). Their makeup experts worked on so many recent NYFW shows and they got the acclaim they deserved. This is a company that does an incredible amount of philanthropy. I am just loving the fact that for the ninth year in a row, Shiseido has decided to donate $5 to cancer research for each sale of three lipstick Veiled Rouge lipcolor shades. The three colors selected this year are Veiled Rouge In Pomegranate, Skyglow and Sloe (pictured to the left). I consider the Veiled Rouge colors a “luxury lipcolor that’s a bargain” at $25 because each one lasts about six to eight months applied once every morning. I tested this out myself
BTW, I recently started using the Bio Performance Glow Revival Cream With Multi-Capisolve 1124 and found that they live up to their claim to work on multiple skin problems: unevenness, redness, wrinkles and large pores. I have all of the above problems with unevenness being the worst of them, and I am pleased at the results I have gotten in three weeks
I have also been using the new Shiseido Full Lash Serum and this is another item I have to consider a bargain even though it is considered a luxury item. You pay $35 for a three month supply and I have seen results in only two weeks. While this product does not claim to darken lashes, mine HAVE been darkened, so I am super thrilled. By the way, it is also great for brows and filling in all those unwanted “spaces”–I apply the Full Lash Serum extra heavily where I need it and my brows seem to be filling in nicely! Be sure to use twice a day as directed to get maximum results!
Next up I will be trying Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate which has been well-reviewed by beauty-istas/bloggers. I need a little “lift” in that area and I have faith that this product lives up to its reputation!
