The Singer Palace Hotel in Rome is a luxurious boutique hotel with an intimate atmosphere, mingling the charm of historical architecture with elegant modern touches. It was recently voted the #1 Hotel In Rome by TripAdvisor and the accolades are well-deserved! This five star hotel is located in a central and historic part of Rome on Via Alessandro Specchi, near the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, making it ideal for visitors eager to explore Rome’s major landmarks via walking.
Remarkable History And Design
The hotel building was originally the Italian headquarters of the Singer Sewing Machine Company, built in the early 20th century. When it was reimagined as a hotel, the highly creative designers intentionally preserved historical elements, blending Italian Art Deco elegance with a modern flair. The decor accentuates vintage touches alongside sleek furnishings, creating a harmonious mix of old and new.
Rooms And Suites No Traveler Can Resist
Each room at the Singer Palace Hotel is decorated in a one of a kind manner, with offerings that range from cozy rooms to spacious suites, some offering views of Rome’s picturesque rooftops. Luxe linens, plush furnishings, and ultramodern modern amenities create a restful, luxurious environment for visitors. The suites, in particular, are already legendary for their space and views, which capture the beauty of the Rome’s ancient skyline.
Unforgettable Dining And Drinking Experiences
The hotel is renowned for its rooftop terrace restaurant Le Terrazze, which offers both breathtaking city views and a selection of Italian cuisine that showcases local ingredients and traditional recipes with a modern twist. Guests can eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner while overlooking some of Rome’s most iconic sights. Some of the intricate details on the top of neighboring buildings are so close by that you feel that you can reach out and touch them!
There is also a stylish lounge bar called Rooftop Jim’s bar where guests can unwind with truly unique signature cocktails, aperitifs and wines from an extensive cellar. You can get some of the same gorgeous grub as at Le Terrazze and there is a quiet, no rush atmosphere at the bar itself! You can get your drink and food order served while sitting on the ultra-comfortable blue velvet couches in the photo above.
Here are some of the beautiful vegetarian options at Le Terrazze Rooftop, which by the way has the best sunset views in Rome…after dinner, take a walk to both the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon (which are just a five to ten minute walk away). Above you can see a photo collage of my recent dinner at Le Terazze. This cozy culinary experience was one of the highlights of my first ever visit to Rome. From the minute I walked into Le Terrazze and was seated at a centrally located table, I thought that this would be the ultimate setting for a proposal. This place is romantic even by Roman standards! Pictured above are a fresh take on Eggplant Parmigiana, grilled vegetables including radicchio, eggplant and zucchini and risotto with porcini and truffle! The service was so attentive; every ten minutes a staff member would come up to my party to see how we were doing.
Notable And Welcoming Features
The Singer Palace Hotel’s staff is known for its white glove service and personalized approach, which makes guests feel warmly welcomed and well-cared-for. The concierge team is helpful in putting together city tours, dinner reservations, or any custom requests, adding to the five star experience. The hotel’s ambiance is intimate, making it a great choice for couples or travelers seeking a more personal experience rather than the vibe of a large chain hotel.
