Good Science Beauty: The Magic In Their Products Is Actually Pure Science!

I fell in love with Good Science Beauty (which I was unfamiliar with prior) when I attended the recent Beauty Squared show in Tribeca–I loved the samples that I received there so I was thrilled to be invited to their recent press breakfast in their Kips Bay offices. The founder was in attendance not to mention that one of their affiliated doctors gave the 411 on why these mostly natural products are so special. They stay on the spot you intended them to go on with their patented “magic ingredient” called Good Silicon. This is especially great if you are use multiple products on different parts of your face–women seem especially concerned about having eye cream stay in the under eye area. Good Silicon also stimulates collagen production.About 40 beauty journalists and bloggers attended the classy event and they had plenty of questions for Founder And CRO Dr. Suzanne Saffie-Siebert and Cornell Medical School educated dermatologist Dr. Marisa Garshick (pictured above) who simplified Good Science’s breakthrough technology by saying, “Good silicon plus technology helps to overcome a bug challenge in skincare–getting an ingredient where it needs to be safely and effectively improve the skin.” She added, “By applying science and technology to skincare as Good Science Beauty does, we can aim to achieve even better results.”Good Science Beauty uses only the ingredients needed and nothing more–that means there is no fragrance, artificial colors, parabens, silicones or mysterious ingredients. Everything they put in their products is on the labels! There is no animal testing done, either and all packaging is recyclable. I was so impressed with the before and after results that Dr. Garshick showed in her presentation. The company’s very first product called 001-Pu Purifying Face Cream has been proven to result in a 28 per cent reduction in pore size over the course of four weeks. Even more amazing to me is that the product called 005-Skin Firming Cream showed a 44 per cent reduction in wrinkles over a four week period. The firming cream also improves elasticity and intense moisture so you can skip the moisturizing step that is normally in your beauty routine.A few lucky press breakfast guests also got their hair styled by a crackerjack team who works for Sally Hershberger. Sally Hershberger’s 24K line is the gold standard in hair products and I fell in love with their dry shampoo. It gave immediate volume even though I have oily scalp and skipped a day of shampooing. My hair definitely looked fully and shinier instantaneously with no residue–and the view of midtown from the Good Science offices that I looked at while getting styled was amazing!I got a peek at the Good Science lab while I was at the press breakfast and a few lucky journalists were able to get in the chair above for a skin analysis. You will be amazed if you go to www.goodsciencebeauty.com and check out their before and after pics. Prices are in the middle level of beauty product price points but bottles are generous and for the most part last three months depending on level of usage. You will love their easy-to-spot neon, black and white packaging, too.
