NY NOW’s 2025 Winter Market is happening through tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4th at the Jacob Javits Center—and they’re excited to have guests including buyers from major department stores and decor boutiques explore the latest trends in gifts, home, lifestyle, and design from amazing brands. If you decide to sign up (you do not have to be in the trade to enter), don’t miss out on the special activations and exclusive experiences the NY Now folks have lined up include plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle with the talented brand owners who are “showing”!
Here are photos of some of my favorite brands in all different areas of “home goods” from plates to hats to books to licorice!
Before you ask, yes—these days there are clothing and accessories mixing in with the more traditional home items that NY Now is famous for! The company that make these adorable ski hats is called Mitchie’s Matchings, Inc.; the numerous designs this booth are truly unique and whimsical!
This is the first time I spotted coffee table books at NY Now but major publishing companies seemed to take up three center rows of the show. In my eyes, Rizzoli has always been the king of coffee table books and I spent a half hours perusing the titles shown above!
Sarah Stewart’s very pink booth is very eye catching! They have bags of all sizes and shapes and many are inspired by the popular luxury bags of the moment. The woven leather bags that you can see against the wall in the middle section above just stole my heart. Best of all, all these bags are at very reasonable price points!
Many top spa brands are featured at NY Now including one of my favorites, Apotheke, who actually have a store underneath Rockefeller Center. The room sprays, oils and infusers are all amazing natural scents and the simple packaging is super elegant!
In terms of true Tabletop items, my favorite dishware was Elizabeth Sutton Home’s melamine mix and match items. Suttons draws all these patterns by hand and she had a bunch of NY Now guests watching her create a new geometric pattern! She is most famous for her cabbage rose pattern!
There is not much food at NY Now but I was lucky enough to stumble upon some real Danish licorice from Lakrids By Bulow! I do not have to tell you that authentic Danish licorice is a giant candy craze right now and I am happy to say that you can buy this fantastic brand at Bon Bon stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn! Their strawberry cream coated licorice drove me insane but I can also can highly recommend any flavor that you see above! They have some gorgeously packaged sets for Valentine’s Day, by the way!
At the front entrance was Kiki Handmade, who created glass and ceramic items with your own images but also sell some made with iconic images from the 50’s until now. Above you can see a decorative glass tile/ with a famous images of Barrack Obama and Judge Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
There was rows of gorgeous cutting boards and other natural wood items. JK Adam’s Vermont have a stellar assortment of handmade items including the most sturdy boards that I have ever seen for cutting up a fish, roasts or turkey.
You can always find unique decorative items at NY Now (that kind of goes without says), but these wax coated amaryllis bulbs from Let ‘Em Bloom are incredible. They are colorful, require no care and the flowers last for weeks! For more info on NY Now including how to purchase tickets, go here: http://nynow.com.
