I had a blast at the recent Jill Zarin Luxe Lunch at the Southampton Inn that benefits thyroid cancer research. I had many favorite moments and enjoyed not only partaking of the food and spirits booths, but checking out all the cutting edge lifestyle brands on hand under a gorgeous white tent.
The event was produced by celebrity event planners Sean Koenig and Brian Kelly of Ticket2Events (whom you can see as the “bookends” in the photo above). The event’s stunning decor was supplied by furniture made by Chita, tables and booths from Atlas Party Rental.
Guests were pampered as they visited each booth! You can see the “tech forward” Laifen electronic devices on display above including “faster than the speed of light” blow dryers and smart electric toothbrushes. Guests were treated to consultations by Jen DiLandro, CEO of Dolce Aesthetics, their choice of fun hair items by Teleties. I saw Housewives LeeAnn Locken and Ramona Singer thoroughly enjoying their blowouts at the Laifen booth, by the way! Several Housewives and socialist guests stopped by the FreshCost booth for long lasting gel manis! In terms of travel, Glass House Boca Raton was inviting celebrity guests to visit and handed out chic blue logo baseball hats.
VIP guests were treated to spectacular gift sets from Mend Skincare (who was the major sponsor) and you can see some of their most highly praised products in the display above. All guests were able to mix and mingle under the white tent and take home great items including a code for a pet hair vacuum from OneIsAll! (I got a big kick out of playing with their fantastic automatic pet feeder on display!) It was also great to check out the Embr Wave 2 devices which can actually reduce the effects of hot flashes and cool your body! VIP wristbands were created with these cutting edge devices! Large canvas bags provided by Dacosta Verde were handed out to be filled with the goodies on hand and undoubtedly they will be reused in the future as they are sturdy enough to hold 20 or 30 pounds of contents. Other brands that supplied guests with amazing swag were Branch Basics, Safely, SkinMedica, Coola, Truvani, Corksicle, Colleen Rothschild, Beachwaver and more. Speaking of Beachwaver, there were cabinets full of health, household and beauty items for the taking, and not only was I able to score some of the fabulous Beachwaver Dry Shampoo, but I discovered the amazing Safely dish and hand soaps in a lovely citrusy scent called Bright. Vida Life Science vitamin products and Owyn nutrional drinks provided samples in the special “live the good life” section.
I’m There was also an onsite IV drips station by The IV Doc Hamptons that helped give guests boost their energy levels. Drinks booths features LaCroix, Zen Wtr and gin cocktails by Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers. And how could I forget the Cocktail Collective that served guests signature cocktails topped with smoke and bubbles and rosé from Wolfer Estate Wines? Shopping was also aplenty and what celeb does not like to shop? Socialite/philanthropist Jean Shafiroff and singer/businesswoman Meredith O’Connor took time to shop at the pop-up shops by KC Chic Designs Jewelry, Derek Lam 10 Crosby sunglasses and fragrances and Modus Rio handbags and accessories.
Of course, Jill & Ally products were on hand with mother and daughter stopping in now and again to greet guests. Like last year, this booth with a stunning flower covered step and repeat gave out colorful pickleball racquets. The above photo was actually taken at last year’s luxe lunch, but is so cute that I had to run it this year!
Guests with pets got to pick out items from this adorable Glow Pups display! I do not have a pet but these little items are cute enough to use as small throw pillows! The Housewives seemed to gravity towards the pet toys shaped like champagne bottles and glasses, by the way.
No luxe lunch is complete without an amazing diversity of food and you can see the Americano Pizza Cart’s set up above. I have no shame in saying that I ate five or six slices because it really was true Southern Italian style pizza, not New York style–meaning the sauce was homemade, the dough was made from scratch and the mozzarella was fresh! I also loved the Solato gelato making machines that you can actually purchase for home use. They use unique gelato and sorbet k-cups that get refrigerated inside the machine and the result was a delicious frozen dessert in about a minute. The salted caramel gelato was my absolute favorite! I also fell in love with Cream & Sugar’s rich homemade ice cream served from an adorable white cart; Blueberry Cheesecake flavor simply knocked me out with its large chunks of homemade cheesecake! By the way, it comes as no surprise that Southampton’s own Lobster Roll Restaurant’s mini lobster rolls were eaten in abundance!
If you are curious about some of the great items in the gift bags that everyone took home, have a look above. This is only a fraction of the items guests received but it is always lovely to get beauty items that are the quality level or Grande Lash and Mario Badescu! The Coola lip products were welcome as they really moisten lips and keep them hydrated!
Jill had to do a lot of press interviews and photo ops while at the event but still took time to greet all the brand personnel and check out their products. The Luxe Lunch is always such a success because it has a relaxing atmosphere, cutting edge products that you won’t see anywhere else including some making their public debut right at the event, and great food and drinks! Stay tuned to @jillzarinofficial and @ticket2events on Instagram to find out details about next year’s event; only a handful of tickets are available to the general public!
