I have been to five of Jill Zarin’s Luxury Luncheons and the last one might just might have been the best. It was held for the second time at the Halsey House, the oldest house in the Hamptons, which has been open to the public since 1960. As usual, it was produced by the talented team of Brian Kelly and Sean Koski of Tickets2Events. The party was out on the spacious lawn, which includes beautiful gardens scattered with bench. The temperature was about 95 degrees, but that did not keep anyone from having fun—plus, if guests got hot, they could go into the tent where most of the sponsor brands were, giving great swag that ranged from Goldberg’s Original Bagels (a local legend) to Jill Zarin Beauty skincare items!
The Halsey House & Gardens has an old-fashioned vibe and set the tone of the architecture (including the weathered wood shingles look) for the nearby neighborhoods in the future. Guests pulled up right in front of this sign and there was valet parking if they needed it.
Everyone checked in and got complimentary fine 14k carat gold chains put on their wrists courtesy of The Bond Society—these brackets have no clasps so that they stay on forever. (You can remove them via the one bigger circle link with a tweezer or jeweler’s pliers if you want, though.) I noticed that several couples chose the same style of chain for a feeling of unity.
Of course, Jill Zarin and daughter Ally were there to greet guests out in the garden and then they went to mingle with everyone both outside and in the tents. Jill got influencers like myself picked up in a touring bus down on Centre Street in Manhattan, which was very kind of her. (All 22 of us “journos” were grateful for that!)
There was plenty of unique food and venerates on hand. The Sundae Doughnuts cart looked like something from the Barbie movie, only a bit more sophisticated and each cake plate full of these beautiful doughnuts was topped with pink and white flowers along with Baby’s Breath! I got too full on the tacos and brick oven pizza at their respective trucks parked outside the tent to actually eat one, but hope to do so in the future!
I noticed that I was next to that other “original gangster” Housewife Ramona Singer while waiting to check out the brushes and hot tools at the Beachwaver stand. Guests got Beachwaver curling irons and hair products in the gift bag on the way out, and I do not have to tell you that they are some of the most highly touted hair products out there. Ramona actually seemed not to get recognized—perhaps it was her glasses and straight bob hairstyle that made her look different. I also spotted Countess Luann de Lesseps in the tent. There were Housewives from more recent series filmed all over the country as well and they all seemed very happy to see Jill even though none of them were co-cast mates obviously.
Nearly every guest took pics in front of the stunning flower covered step and repeat. Jill has become famous for having the most gorgeous step and repeat of any Hamptons party every year! Right afterwards, guests got to peruse shelves of vitamins and toiletry items from Vital Proteins and Athena Club and help themselves to anything. There were also plenty of energy and collagen drink mixes to be had!
Here are some of the shelves of the vitamin and toiletries “grab and go” are by the step and repeat. There was even all natural detergent and dishwashing liquid available! I have to say that this is where I got introduced to Vital Protein Powdered Collagen, Banila Co’s Clean It Zero 3-In-1 Cleansing Balm and Athena Club razors and creamy body wash which I cannot wait to try!
The Nippies folks always have had a table at the Luxury Luncheon and set all female visitors up with their famous “fix” for wearing barer necklines. These are God’s gift to strapless and halter dresses but also can be used for a little additional padding inside a regular bra. Their world famous boob tape is multi use and helps keep the Nippies in place for a solid 16 hours or more!
I tried this gorgeous green tourmaline and diamond ring on at the Carelle Easthampton fine jewelry stand and fell in love! This amazing brand gave semi precious stones and a little zipper jewelry bag to everyone who stopped by their table! I got a gorgeous square citrine that I hope to get mounted!
At the Viva Vitamin Infusions booth, guests got treated to a “drip” of B-12 and I have to say that everyone walking away said that their energy levels seemed to go up immediately. The staff was on hand to discuss other vitamins available since intravenous vitamins are much more potent than ones taken orally.
The medical staff at Dolce Aesthetics gave visitors some of the cutest cookies that I have ever seen (as you can tell from above, some shapes included syringes and lips). These fun folks also gave away bags of macarons in their trademark colors of purple and white that you can see on the top right of the photo!
At the Jill & Ally booth, guests were treated to colorful pickleball paddles and you can see above that guests were more than happy to pose with them whether they really played pickleball or not! There were also many of Jill & Ally’s gorgeous scented candles in glass jars to test out!!
A very special item given our were this stunning blue and white pillows (seen on the table above) from Hamptons interior home decor firm, June St. George. You can actually design your own pillows and other home decor on their site, JuneStGeorge.com. These people seem to be able to create literally any cloth item for the home and even do consultations on what might work for your style of decor (from placemats to towels)!
Everyone adored the tacos created at The Shrimpy Truck. I might just have had the chicken taco of a lifetime there. All the ingredients were “farm to table” fresh making them much different than your typical New York taco truck. Everyone on the staff was friendly and food came out in a New York Minute! I saw people line up to get shrimp tacos five or six times, I kid you not!
Jill’s parties are known for their amazing gift bags handed to everyone via a cute pink truck on the way out, and this year’s was a doozy! Besides the fantastic aforementioned Beachwaver products, there were plenty of goodies from New Beauty’s Test Tube (a beauty box subscription program), Vital Proteins, Advocare, Simply Mints, Popl electronic sharing bands, Grande Lash, Jill Zarin Beauty, Avenue, Revive, Antedotum Sunscreen and more! The most unusual item in the bag was a subscription to the matchmaker service, Tawkify! I will be back next year! This party is always a bright spot in my summer and one of only two Hamptons parties that I do each year!
