I was so excited to attend the recent Be Chic Be Glam event in Ulta Beauty Herald Square that celebrated the partnership with BCBGMAXAZRIA and Nick Stenson Beauty (which recently launched remarkable all-natural luxury hair products). Every guest got styled both hair-wise and fashion-wise and I want to thank my stylist Shqipe Gocaj—who freelances at many of NYC’s biggest fashion and beauty events—for doing such a great job! I was never given vertical curls/beach waves before!
The new hair products by Nick Stenson (who happens to be a vice president at ULTA) are the bomb—they are all natural and both look and smell like heaven! The “rock star” products are the ones that were fortunately used on me and they work fabulously on ultra fine hair that has a problem keeping height and volume. These products are the Root Lifter Spray and Light Hair Spray. Both smell like a field of flowers and I am really tempted to use them as body spray, LOL! These products are priced at $36 and $34 respectively but I understand from the stylists at the Be Chic Be Glam event that one bottle lasts a really long time!
Guests got to pick stunning gowns and cocktail wear from the current BCBGMAXAZRIA collection and the above dress, which is ultra popular for June weddings, was selected by the majority of event goers. The gorgeous, sexy Summer 2023 BCBG shoes were out on display as well and many influencers tried on the dress or cocktail wear of their choice and paired it with the white Nova pumps that you see on the left. I noticed a deep tan strappy high heeled sandal trend in the current BCBG shoe line and I think it’s a great look for going from day to evening this summer!
I left really excited about my new curls and new duds (I selected a Pucci inspired print palazzo pant and button down blouse set from the racks). I had to make sure I had a great place to go with my curls (since usually my hair is stick straight)—so I made a res at one of my favorite steakhouses.
